Do you want to recharge your non-rechargeable batteries? Most of us think that non-rechargeable batteries are only for once use. But it also can be use multiple times (2-10 times depending on quality and type of battery) after recharging them. Here is a simple circuit which you can build and recharge your nonrechargeable batteries.

This circuit is based on the fact that if any non rechargeable battery is supplied with a voltage continuously it absorbs the electricity and stores it as chemical energy.

The circuit is simply a power supply which converts mains power supply to a electricity with voltage which should be a little bit more than the voltage of battery you are charging Like if you want to charge a battery of 1.5 voltage the voltage of transformers in the circuit should be about 2 voltage and if you are charging a battery of 6 voltage the voltage of the transformer in the circuitmust be About 9 voltage.

Mostly non-recharge able batteries can be recharged in this way for about 3-7 times, after much use the battery will not be able to store much energy. And to recharge your battery you must keep the battery in the charger for about 12-24 hours and after 12-24 hours your battery would be almost as new.

But don’t forget to use a good quality transformer in the circuit so that it will use less power and produce less heat and especially this is needed because we are going to keep the circuit working for long hour.
